OMIG is pleased to announce its call for abstracts for the next Postgraduate Prize Meeting, which will take place at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA) on Thursday 12th February 2015. As this is a general meeting, abstracts are invited from postgraduate research students in all areas of oral microbiology and immunology. Abstracts must be in standard IADR format (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion & Conclusion) and must be no more than 300 words in length. Abstracts should be sent to Marcello.Riggio@glasgow.ac.uk by Friday 5th December 2014. Successful presenters will be notified by Friday 12th December 2014.
The meeting will follow previous formats, with postgraduate students giving oral presentations on their research (12 minutes + 3 minutes for questions), which will be judged by an independent panel. There will be a prize for both the runner-up and winner. The scientific programme will commence at noon (after a buffet lunch) and finish at 4.30pm. There will then be a drinks reception.
Registration is free for academic staff and postgraduate students. Further details will be posted on the OMIG website in due course.
OMIG looks forward to seeing as many of you as possible in Amsterdam in February 2015, for what promises to be a very exciting and stimulating meeting showcasing some of the excellent research being conducted by our postgraduate student members.
